Yesterday we went strawberry picking at a farm we had not visited before. Somerfields Berryfruit.  We got half the berrys home safely, the other half are resting peacefully in two little tummys. ! Did I mention Summer is the best time of the year ! No matter where you are in NewZealand, theres sure to be a great berry farm not to far away !

I let 2014 get away on me, so I have decided that 2015 will be a year of keeping up, with washing, with emails, with fun, with dreams, and with all things creative ! The important thing this year is not to waste a second of it.  Life is too short to get upset over the little things. No matter what happened yesterday, today is a new day.  I am so excited for whats happening for our little family ! Today also marks the first week of project 52. A portrait of my children once a week, every week in 2015. Alongside this, me and my children will also be completing each Lulu and Leo fund Superartist challenge, and sharing our progress here. Check out the Lulu and Leo fund - here,  and be inspired !

We went camping on Familys property over summer.  First time the kids have been camping, and was such a success ! , apart from flat air beds and killer mosquitos ! I think we might go again before the end of summer .

Will keep this one short and sweet just like the below pictures.

Kyla and her curls at sunset.
Kyla draws in her little notepad given to her by a very good friend, half way around the world.  It looks like a stairway to the rainbow. So sweet.

We went away for the weekend, and so today decided to watch 'The Muppets' and have a lazy day at home.  Kyla was busy drawing at the same time the movie was on, can you tell ?.  I am so impressed with her drawing of kermit. Those frog eyes are the cutest !  She even managed to pick the right green.

Here she is picking flowers in the garden at auntys house.  It was a hot weekend.

We have been spending alot of time this summer by the water, in the water, and even drawing things that swim.  This is Kylas wall display at her preschool.  It reminds me so much of when I was young, when I developed a love of art..  I have a feeling kyla is going to be the same, and I couldnt be more happier that she has found things that she loves to do.  Then there is leon, who has no fear when it comes to water, so I see some pretty serious swimming lessons coming for the both of them.
